GPSA sponsors educational and social activities with special emphasis on programs and events designed to promote cultural diversity; sponsors and participates in community health fairs; sponsors programs that support the recruitment of underrepresented students; and supports educational seminars, electives and community health education projects.
Interprofessional student RCOs can obtain funding for organizational expenses, orientation events, UCSF student recruitment, and social activities. GPSA also provides funding for RCO administrative support expenses such as photocopying, postage, and basic office supplies.
To be eligible for GPSA funds, RCO events must be open to all UCSF students, be non-discriminatory, and be predominately educational in purpose.

If a RCO would like to request funding for an event type or expenditure line item that is not listed in the RCO Funding Guidelines and on the RCO Funding Grid, they may ask to submit a proposal to the GPSA board directly. The funding proposal will then be presented at the following GPSA monthly meeting.
