Llamas Visit UCSF
Wednesday, May 8, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Koret Quad, Mission Bay [Registration]
Back by popular demand! Come to Koret Quad to de-stress from work, exams, research, and life in general by cuddling with a llama! Registration and waiver required. You will be required to show email confirmation of waiver completion and UCSF ID when checking in. Partnership between GPSA and CLS Arts & Events.

Get Involved! Student Organization Fair
Wednesday, October 11, Noon-1 p.m., Millberry Union, Parnassus, Pizza with RSVP
Kick off the Fall quarter with a stroll through the annual Student Organization Fair! Student groups cover a broad range of interests, including educational, social, cultural, artistic, recreational, political and spiritual. During the fair, you will be able to visit different student group booths to chat with current members and learn more about the group’s activities.

 

GPSA Presents: The 11th Annual UCSF Formal
Saturday, Saturday, October 28 , 8 p.m.-Midnight, Exploratorium, Pier 15, SF [Tickets]
Join the Graduate & Professional Student Association for the annual semi formal all school gala and enjoy a night filled with dancing and a taco bar at one of the most classic San Francisco venues--the Exploratorium!

Tickets: $55 per ticket until October 5 / $60 per ticket after October 5.

Each UCSF student is allowed to purchase up to two tickets (one for themselves and one for a guest). Photo ID & UCSF ID will be required at the door for you and your guest (guest does not have to show a UCSF ID). Please bring a printed copy of your ticket(s) or have it ready to be scanned on your phone when checking in the night of the event. Outside drinks (including containers) are not allowed in the venue. Personal items including jackets will be checked by security at the door. 

We recommend taking a rapid COVID test on October 28 before heading to the venue as a precautionary measure.

UC Student Regent Information Lunch
Tuesday, January 23, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mission Hall 2106, Mission Bay

Come meet Student Regent Merhawi Tesfai and Regent-designate Josiah Beharry. This is your chance to hear from the UC student regents regarding their application experience and to discuss ways in which the student regent could better advocate for you. RSVP by January 17.

 

UCSF Cultural Night
Tuesday, March 5, 5-6:30 p.m., Millberry Union Gym, RSVP
The Graduate & Professional Student Association invites you to UCSF Cultural Night featuring cultural student organizations, various ethnic foods, and music. The evening will also include raffle prizes and selfie station. Must RSVP to be entered into raffle. RSVP by March 1.

 

UCSF Student and Alumni Mixer at SPARK Social SF
Tuesday, March 12, 5-6:30 p.m., SPARK Social, 601 Mission Bay Blvd North, San Francisco, CA 94158, Registration
Enjoy a relaxed evening and dinner with fellow UCSF students and alumni at SPARK Social SF, an outdoor food truck park, beer/sangria garden, and community gathering space designed for fun times. All registrants will receive meal tickets for the food trucks and access to SPARK Social's Backstage area reserved just for UCSF. Co-sponsored by UCSF Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) and Alumni Association of UCSF (AAUCSF).

2024 Last Lecture with Dr. Rupa Tuan
Tuesday, April 9, 5:30 p.m., Cole Hall, Parnassus + Livestream, Registration
The students have spoken, and hundreds voted for Dr. Rupa Tuan to deliver the Sumner and Hermine Marshall Endowed Last Lecture. Dr. Tuan will deliver a lecture on the prompt, "If you had but one lecture to give, what would you say?” This interprofessional event will bring out stories intertwining various dimensions of Dr. Tuan’s professional, personal, spiritual, and cultural experiences that have brought her to UCSF today. Sponsors: GPSA, Student Life, and AAUCSF.
